For more than a decade in the Amazon, I am usually asked about the temperature of the water in the Amazon. In fact the temperature changes according to the hours of the day, of course. I found differences of about 3 degrees between the water temperature by 6am in the morning and 6am in the evening. As I already found waters with 32 ° of temperature and waters with 22 ° !!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, the average temperature ranges from 25 to 26 degrees at many of the places where we collect and select Wild Discus. In the company Santarem Discus we do not use thermostats. Usually the outdoor temperature is between 27º and 35º degrees. Santarem Discus Company the temperature stays in the 28º. In this way we managed to have an average temperature of 26.5º and thus we keep our Wild Discus.
Places with strong currents like these images we find the water with 23rd !! So it is important to note that the temperature we recommend to keep your wild discus should be between 26 and 28º in your aquariums.
