All About Heckel Nhamunda

Nhamunda Land of Heckel  They are among the most beautiful Wild Discus of Amazonia. Its electric blue that can be seen with a good light in an Aquarium is sometimes "dazzling". The Most Rare Wild Discus

All or almost all the collection seasons in the Amazon between late September and December we find some Wild Rare Discus. Wild Discus only ones who are coming back to the same communities can not see another !  As you can imagine the joy is great when a Wild Discu is found. I compare the moment like the Christmas Eve. When a child opens the toy he wanted so badly. The first one I highlight is really a weird Wild Discus. Stress bars never disappeared in a black tone as well as around a beautiful black outline , with a blue . Just absolute amazing and of course ...rare .  It was a Wild Discus always very shy and away from the others. We finished selling to Hong Kong to Wayne Ng  and second we went to China. Hopefully you have reproduced ... Over the weeks in quarantine began to become red. Amazon Biotope

Throughout these years in Amazonia I have observed the attempt to recreate Amazonian Biotopos in aquariums. In fact, it is not such a complicated task. Those who have come to the Amazon with us have managed to recreate them.  They succeeded because they also plunged into different communities and were able to observe the reality of the places where the Wild Discus remain. I am often asked what plants exist. In fact, there are almost no plants in the environments where the Wild Discus live and hide from predators. More trunks, twigs, sticks, dry leaves superimposed on a light brownish fine sand the environment in which the wild discus remain and live.  The images I put give to understand how the bottom of the Rivers. Trunks and bad fallen on sand. Sometimes and against what many "experts" say there are places with rocks where the Wild Discus hide and live to reproduce.
